1. Burn it on your open fire/stove
Burning is a great way to totally dispose of forms and you can get thru reasonable amounts of paper so long as you've got an existing fire or stove in the house. The amount of ash it creates is totally disproportionate to the heat, but at least no-one can lift your address from the documentation when it's burnt.
2. Eat it
Tiny pieces of paper like pin code recommendation notes can be chewed and swallowed without too much discomfort - but we don't recommend you get a knife and fork and try to consume your last 12 months bank and card statements. This is the preferred method of many folks, even though it does seem a little bizarre!
3. Tear it up in a million pieces
If you have powerful wrists and enough time you can manually shred forms by ripping it into thousands of small pieces. If you lose interest part way thru and finish up with some massive pieces then either burn them or get rid of them in many various bins so any conmen can not just do a jigsaw to rejoin the document.
4. Encase it in concrete blocks
This one is ever harder on you forearms and wrists. If you do not need to spend ages ripping the paper into little pieces then you might make a concrete crypt and place the full pieces of paper in whole.
5. Use a Confidential Shredder
Maybe this should have been number one on the list as it makes the most sense! Paper shredders destroy the documentation fully making it difficult for the pieces to be put back together like a jigsaw ; depending on the size of shredder you buy then you can dump big amounts of paper quickly and efficiently ; as the paper is bio-degradable it's better for the environment than burning it and there's also lots of uses for the shredded paper like confetti, packing etc.
