What is the reason? Probably there can be more, but one of it is that we are a bit uncomfortable in that place. Generally we do not anybody who is there in the gym and we are not in socializing mood. To keep up the fitness, we have to move out of our comfort zone and that is something what not everybody is willing to do. It does not mean that you cannot enjoy easy exercises what you do not enjoy now. Simply, you have to make it enjoyable, does not matter what kind of easy exercises you are doing now (or maybe not doing at all).
One easy way for it to list out friends to make some easy exercises with you. It can even motivate you because every member of this “team” can keep the other one to go and have some easy exercises regularly. It is good to have somebody who you are comfortable with to get help when you need or speak with when you have chance for it.
Another way to enjoy the easy exercises is to disguise it somehow! A lot of easy exercises that you do at the gym, like stationary bike and treadmill, can be done as a hobby! It is not about going around without getting anywhere. It is actually about going out and have a walk or ride your bike regularly. There is a lot more pleasure in this kind of easy exercises than in monotonous machine stepping at the gym, especially when you do it with somebody! And it can be kept up more easily than a strict work out routine.
