Begin your hunt for football tickets by asking your friends and family. Chances are someone knows someone who either owns season tickets or works for a company that has football tickets. You may be able to call in a favor. If that proves unsuccessful, decide how much you are willing to spend on tickets and in what area of the arena you would like your football tickets to be. Of course you should try the official ticket sellers or box office but if that doesn’t work then you can go to the reseller route. Ebay and StubHub are usually most people’s first stop. These sites match buyers with sellers and can sometimes work out fine. You do need to be careful that you are dealing with a reputable source. You also want to be sure that you stick to your budget. If you are buying your football tickets auction style, you can easily overspend if you aren’t careful or you get carried away.

Assuming those reseller sites aren’t successful for you, you can turn to a ticket broker. Brokers will have even the most popular football tickets since they purchase them from season ticket holders. Their prices, however, will be much higher than face value. As a last resort you can drive to the stadium on the day of the game and try to buy the tickets from one of the many scalpers who will likely find in the parking area or outside the stadium. You will need cash, though, and you need to be careful that the tickets you are buying are not counterfeit. If it’s a big game then your football tickets could be any price at all. Once again, it is wise to know what your spending limit is.

Regardless of how big a game is you can always find tickets. It’s all just a matter of how much you are willing to pay. Even World Cup tickets can be had for the right price. Buyer beware though, there are unscrupulous sellers out there. Be careful to make sure that you are buying the genuine article.
