1. Firstly, this is probably the more common sense but also the hardest, is avoid takeaway. avoid the candy isle in the supermarket and Hungary Jacks when you are out and about shopping with family.
2. Make sure to eat more fruit and vegetables. Eat only healthy fats like olive oil and stay away from fried food. Cut down on alcohol and processed sugar. This will decrease the fat around your midsection aswell as inside your arteries.
3. Protein intake should consist of the lean type; fish, seafood, poultry, turkey and eggs will assist you keep muscle mass and also give you more energy.

Writing down these few things and jumping on the scales will help you pinpoint how and where those extra pounds may have come from.
10. And of course, last but not least, stay motivated and consistent. Set yourself a definite goal and reward yourself when you achieve it!
