Fun Snacks for Kids - Make it Mini
----------
Making fun snacks for kids may just include miniaturization.
Keep the treat pint sized for the pint sized eater.
Sometimes when we load up a kids plate with too much food, we overwhelm them.
Lots of food on a plate may intimidate a young child. Offer mini portions of food
to children and watch them become members of the clean plate club.

We can also add exciting shapes and colors to basic foods like sandwiches or
make healthy celery look more appealing by adding raisins.

Providing interesting looking food in mini proportions can make the child have a
feeling of accomplishment. By offering mini portions, the kid is more likely
to try the food. Some smaller portion recipes for kids are offered below:

The topping can be almost anything that the kids want to put on their mini pizzas: green, yellow peppers, onions, garlic, pepperoni, Italian sausage.

The toppings go a long way because little is required for the small biscuit.
The mini pizzas are quick and filling. The kids have a great time topping their pizza
with all of their favorite ingredients.

These mini pizzas can be frozen. They can be reheated in the microwave for a few seconds for a quick and hearty snack.

Funny Sandwich Faces
Make Mini Star Sandwiches for your kids

1)Prepare your kids favorite sandwich.
2)Cut out the sandwich using cookie cutters in
a variety of shapes and sizes.
3)Add vegetables - put faces on the small mini cutouts using olives, carrots and small
pickles or other variations of your choice.

Allow the little one to make the faces.

Your kid will be thrilled and will show their appreciation by eating
the delightful snack.

Kid friendly recipes cater to the imagination of the child. Taking the time to make
mealtime fun and enjoyable for the child may take a few more minutes in the kitchen
but will be worth the effort.
