Building on your relationship with your child.

Becoming a parent is one of the scariest and most nerve wrecking experiences ever. Not that I am a parent, but so I have heard. I can only but imagine the stress involved in being a first time parent and having to think about whether you are providing adequately for your child, if you are giving them the correct guidance and morals while still trying to remain close with them on a personal level. Everyone wants what is best for their child and unfortunately we do not always know the answers to everything or have the best ideas when it comes to their futures.

Parents who are looking to improve on their parenting techniques and skills can attend courses that promote positive parent-child relationships. One of the greatest parts of being involved and participating in one of these classes and courses is that parents are able to meet other parents who are like minded and have their childs best interests at heart, forming a social support network.

There are many parenting courses available to South African parents where life skills, different parenting styles and general family dynamics are explored and developed. All parents are welcomed and encouraged to participate.
