It’s a fact that a cheater will leave some sort of clues behind them no matter how careful they are. It doesn’t matter how careful they are, they will still be there. It’s your job to figure out what they are. One thing is for sure. The signs he is cheating will always be about change in one form or another. Because of the fact that a cheater has added a new relationship to their life, the dynamics for them have changed and that in turn will change the dynamics of the other parts of their life.
Behavioral changes come in many shapes and sizes. These changes can show up in their mannerisms, their routine and even in their emotions. Let me give you some examples. Maybe they’ve started leaving for work earlier than they ever have and/or getting home later. The ever popular “I have to work late” can be a dead give-away especially when it comes with no warning and there is no overtime pay to show for it. Maybe they’ve always detested going to the store and now suddenly they volunteer to go frequently. This would give them time to communicate with “whomever”.
Emotional changes are another big one. Once again it’s about a change from what you view as their normal behavior. No one will know your spouse better than you do so these changes may only be noticed by you. If they’ve stopped confiding in you when they always use to, well that is a sign. If they use to be very affectionate and now it is non existent, well that’s another. Look for differences in their mannerisms from what you view as normal for them.
Behavioral changes will sometimes occur in ways that you may not think about. Thinks like an over-active interest in their appearance, a new wardrobe or even an interest in a new style of music can all be signs he is cheating. If you notice changes in the way they use their cell phone such as talking softly or requesting privacy when they are on a call may be a warning. They may not answer some calls when in your presence and they me seem to be very protective of their cell.
Keep in mind that cheating signs can vary a great deal from person to person and the one I’ve talked about here are just a tiny sampling. These signs don’t exclusively mean your partner is cheating by any means. There could be perfectly rational explanations for any of them. It’s just that when you witness several of them that you should be concerned. Remember this, most cheaters will not come clean unless you have absolute proof and the proof is something that you will have to obtain on your own. You simply need to learn how to turn the signs he is cheating into irrefutable evidence.
