Exposed New Business Opportunities- Critical Factors in an MLM Organization

Exposing your MLM organization to a new business opportunity can be a critical factor. One word that really gets people's juices flowing is the word "new". In MLM, "new" always gets people's attention. Part of the attraction is the implied "fear of loss", because what is
"new" today will not be new next month. So you'd better hop on it today, or you may well be too late to make your fortune. You find another word in MLM: "prelaunch". Anybody who advertises these words with an idea that sounds at all plausible and which has some nice bells and whistles is likely to attract some good attention. Are you interested? OK. But here is the problem: most businesses fail. Especially when you have a new business, the chance of them
surviving 2 years is certainly under 20%, and maybe much lower. And in any event, new businesses have problems.

You might totally dedicate yourself to a new business, but others won't. As soon as they get a jug with the label upside down, they'll figure these guys don't know what they're doing, and they'll quit. All businesses need some time to get their system working right. Nothing works exactly as you have planned it. If you get in before they've got problems ironed out, your people will get discouraged, and it will be hard to keep them. What is the solution? Wait. If it's
a great opportunity when it's new, it will be an even better
opportunity in 2 years, because it will have established more credibility and trust with stakeholders. Plus, the problems will have
been found and fixed. So it's best to let the system get itself straight, rather than jumping on that "new" bandwagon.

It's important to really target the exact people who will build your network marketing business. Obviously there are lots of possibilities. veteran mail-order dealers have spent years learning
how to target the best prospects to mail to. And in that business, it is very, very expensive to make a mistake when you mail. Successful mailers say that what makes money isn't the mailing piece they send out - it is the names on the list they mail to. And this may sound really strange, but the number one criteria to be able to predict whether a person will buy is, has this person bought the same thing before?

Sounds like it couldn't possibly be right, but it is the truth. Mail order dealers who know what they're doing mail exclusively to people who have already bought the exact same thing, or
something very similar. Why would that work? Because you are dealing with someone who has raised their hand and identified themself as a person interested in exactly what you are selling. So your best MLM prospects are NOT the general public. Your top prospects are
frustrated network marketers still searching for the opportunity that will give them the success they want.

You can read more about these ideas and many others in Michael Dlouhy's ebook, "Success In 10 Steps." The book has been in great demand from frustrated network marketers, having been downloaded 100,000 times now. The author blows out of the water the
widely-accepted idea that you should begin by recruiting friends and family. That plan is a big loser. The high MLM failure rate means you'll wind up with a lot of family members upset or angry with you, and that's not good. And the fact is, you'll eventually run out of people you know and have to promote to a cold market anyway. So you may as well start there. Your friends & family will be calling you, after you've proven you can build a profitable business.
The book is full of very useful ideas for the old or new business opportunity professional.
