Recognizing Stomach Problems

By now I'm sure we all know what are stomachs are, right? Do we all know what that organ does that sits nicely between our small intestines and esophagus? Well it actually has a purpose of doing three tasks for us. First it stores our swallowed food, and then after that food is stored it mixes it with our stomach acids. Once that's done it then passes that stored food into our small intestines. When people deal with stomach issues, which happen each and everyday these stomach problems can range from a mild case to something as indigestion or an issue that is more severe such as peptic ulcers.

Other home remedies can include such things as: Watching what we eat, watching our weight and eliminating the types of food that brings on heartburn. Other types of remedies that we can use to relieve the discomfort of heartburn can include such things as: Antacids, H-2 receptor blockers and proton pumps.
