The sun is just a bit brighter and the birds are singing earlier each morning, as I sit on the patio and drink my cup of warmth.
My daughter brought home tomato plants from the health food store where she works today. The look on her face was sheer delight. It's planting time again. Time to smell the rich earth...feel it's coolness on our hands...put awakening joy into seeds of hope.
It occured to me today that our minds are alot like a garden. When we were born they were new and untouched. All the years of experience and messages we have recieved have created what now is each of us. When we were small, others did most of the planting...for some of us the created alot of pain and suffering and sadness.
But just as the seasons change...we change...and now as adults we are the gardeners of our minds.
The weeding and planting and pruning and watering our up to us. I once heard this saying in a time of great pain in my life
"All you are ever dealing with is a thought...and a thought can be changed"
From our thoughts come our beliefs > then our actions>then our life.
Are you spending time in the garden of your mind this spring. Are you being still enough to notice the thoughts that are coming to you again and again each day? Do those thoughts nourish your spirit? Do they help you to grow in peace and love? Are they attracting the Abundance you desire in your life?
I was born in the Springtime!
My birthday each year reminds me that it only takes one person to change my life and that is me...
but alittle help along the ways is as wonderful as a friend coming over to help out in the garden.
For new seed for the garden of your mind...
