The Autobin is an automatic opening bin. It has an infrared sensor on the lid, when you place your hand near the lid of the bin the lid opens and shuts after about 8 seconds allowing you to drop your rubbish into the bin, however, if you need more time, for example when your peeling eggs or pouring left overs in the bin, you can overide this. There is a button for open and close if you need this. This touchless autobin is very hygenic and helps to prevent spread of germs within a family household, hospitals, public toilets, within the office, airports, old peoples homes or wherever you need a bin.
